Canonical (are) idiots

I have just read this article:

https://www.tomkranz.com/blog1/a-case-study-in-bad-hiring-practice-and-how-to-fix-it

And it’s so fucking funny! It’s exactly my experience of applying for jobs these days.

I never liked Ubuntu, and I believe they are harm to Linux community. Their system is an utter piece of shit, and if it wasn’t, I might be attracted to full switch to Linux much earlier.

Fedora is just a fantastic jewel, and surely one of the best Linux distributions alive.

I’m not very sure about Arch (which I use), but it was rock solid for me (solider than any Debian ever was). Also, there are Gentoo, Nix, and Alpine, that I want to try out.

Reading this, it feels like they are absolute idiots. They stink with mediocrity, even their font is just, I cannot stand it, there’s something very unprofessional about it to me.

So, yeah. Not even surprised their hiring processes are like that.
